Communities

The children were introduced to classical ballet for the first time in 1995, in the communities of Cantagalo and Pavão-Pavãozinho. The Project then was extended to Rocinha, Mangueira, Chapéu Mangueira, Babilônia, Morro dos Macacos, Tuiutí, Jacarezinho, Salgueiro and Santa Marta. Due to the sponsorship of Petrobras and the support of FAPERJ, VIDEO FILMES and Lei de Incentivo à Cultura, of Ministério da Cultura and other donations and contributions, we reached the following rates:
