Escola de Dança das Comunidades

The Project has the incentive of Godmother Ana Botafogo, first dancer of Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro and Godfather Walter Sallles, movie director. Ana Botafogo has always given much incentive and motivation to the children of the Project, since its very beginning in 1995, when she danced with the students of Dançando. She has also given many interviews focusing on the importance of the Project. Walter Salles was one of the first supporters of the project. Today, his company, Video Filmes, supports the students of the Project who are performing abroad.
